Mrs. Sue Smith, of Hogansville, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at the WellStar West GA Health of LaGrange. Mrs. Smith was born on December 31, 1939 to the late Buford Pike and Sallie Whatley in Fitzgerald, GA. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberley Slaughter; brother, Tommy Pike; sisters, Polly Hill, Mary Turner, Jackie Hill.

Survivors include her sons, Timmy Slaughter, Randy Slaughter (Sue), Scott Slaughter (Shirley), Kenneth Slaughter; daughters, Debra Futch (Jimmy), Pam Blackstock, Angela Spicer (Randall); sisters, Brenda Farrow, Vera Whatley; twenty-two grandchildren and many great-grandchildren

Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel. Family will receive friends starting at noon until service time.
