Mr. Travis D. Worthy, 73, of  LaGrange passed away Saturday afternoon at Eastman Health Care and Rehab.  Mr. Worthy was born December 15, 1943 in Talladega Alabama the son of the late Durward Yancey and Euna Rue Burgess Worthy.  He was retired employee of West Point Stevens. Travis was preceded in death by his wife, Netty Sue Worthy, grandson, Stanley Shane Murphy, daughter, Judy K. Wimburn-Murphy and sister, Betty Davis.

Funeral Services for Mr. Travis D. Worthy will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday with Pastor Jason Veitch officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6 until 8 o’clock. Interment will follow in Meadoway Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s association in memory of  Mr. Worthy.
