Each Saturday morning during the summer, the AMC Main Street parking lot transforms into a fresh market featuring the bounty of local gardens.

Local foodie’s and fans of the farm to table movement enjoy the hunt for purple hull peas, blueberries and heirloom tomatoes.   Located in the AMC parking lot, at the corner of Main Street and East Depot Street, Market on Main is the LaGrange’s longest running local growers market.

Customers look forward to shopping for the best vegetables, fruits, baked goods and fresh eggs that the farmers have to offer. Newcomers to the market will be delighted to find a variety of offerings that include homemade biscuits, cakes, fried pies, jams, jellies, honey, breads, soaps and lotions.

Other market favorites that bring shoppers back week after week are authentic Korean food specialties, Eastern European breads and pastries, coffee, tea, certified organic produce, fresh fried pork skins, live plants, boiled peanuts, cinnamon almonds and pecans as well as blade sharpening services on site.

The Market will be open each Saturday morning through August from 8 to 10 a.m., rain or shine.
