Robert Hinton passed away Tuesday WellStar West Georgia Medical Center.

He was born March 28, 1957 to Natha Pearl Hinton and the late, Robert Hinton, Sr.

He joined Friendship Baptist Church at an early age and later became a faithful member of Eastside Baptist Church.

Robert was employed with Merchant Food Service.

Survivors include his wife, LouJean Hinton; sons, Winfred (Shanta) Hinton, Marcus (Shanell) Hinton, Johnny Easter, Richard Harris, Dyland Harris; daughters, Sondra (Edward) Hunter, Malathia (DeMarcus) Copeland, Antonia Dorsey, AnSha Ware, Donna (Jarmeis) Gates; brothers, Pastors Benjamin (Tangela) Hinton, Joseph (Lisa) Hinton; sisters, Betty (Cavern) Welch, Nita Hinton, Carolyn Walker, Angela (Freddie) Leslie; 18 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at New Community Church. Pastor Michael Stiggers will officiate. Burial will follow at Meadoway Gardens Cemetery.
