Funeral services for Kimberly Gail Brooks Traylor, age 38, of Delta will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dorothy Ann Webster, the Rev. Holly Woodall, and the Rev. Anthony Caldwell officiating.  Burial will follow at Corinth Cemetery North.

The family received friends at the funeral home from 5 -8 p.m. on Friday, July 28, 2017.

Kim passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017, at Wedowee Hospital.

Survivors include her husband, Justin Traylor of Delta; one son, Justin Luke Traylor of Delta; her parents, Lamar and Glenda Brooks of Hogansville, GA; father- and mother-in-law, Glenn and Betty Traylor of Wedowee; one brother, William Brooks of Hogansville, GA; sister-in-law, Pam Bailey (husband, Donald) of Wedowee; three brothers-in-law, Paul Traylor (wife, Pam) of Roopville, GA, Tim Traylor of Sylacauga, and Richie Traylor (wife, Michelle) of Delta; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Keith Hart, Jeremy Nelms, Zachary Yates, Sam Yates, Christopher Carter, Sam Traylor, Josh Bailey, and Brad Traylor.  Honorary pallbearers will be the Genesis Class of First United Methodist Church of Lineville.

A LaGrange, Georgia native, Kim was born on October 6, 1978, the daughter of William Lamar and Glenda Yates Brooks.

She was a member of Lineville First United Methodist Church where she was baptized on September 11, 2012, and was a homemaker.  Kim coordinated Incredible Families through the First Methodist Church of Lineville for three years.

She worked with Incredible Families to organize baseball games at Lineville Park for all special needs children and their families.  Kim was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Glenn and Eloise Yates; paternal grandparents, John and Fannie Brooks; special grandmother, Pearl Stinson; maternal grandparents-in-law, Cleo and Irene King; and paternal grandparents-in-law, Silvan and Lorena Traylor.
