Mr. Jerry Wendell Bryan, age 76, of LGrange, passed away on July 30, 2017, at his residence.  Mr Bryan was born on Feb. 17, 1941, in Tifton, Georgia to the late William Ezra Bryan and Mary Hester Bryan.  He worked for over 17 years for the Troup County Sheriffs Department and was the first Chief Investigator for Troup County.  He later was a Truck Driver for Vaughn Truck Lines and was the Manager of a mobile home park in LaGrange.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a niece, Kimberly Dawn Bryan.  Survivors include his sons, Wendall Keith Bryan and his wife Vickie of LaGrange and Pete Bryan and his wife Ghami of LaGrange; his wife, Joyce Bryan of LaGrange; brother, William Bryan (Susan) of LaGrange; sister, Lucille Bryan Oneal (Joe) of LaGrange; nieces and nephews, Cindy Sani (Brian), Derrick Bryan (Angie); great nieces, Casey and Lilly; special friends, Macky Lambeth, Harold Mobley, Raymond Vaughn; extended family and friends. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the Restlawn Memory Gardens with the Rev. Andy Buchanan officiating.
