Sandra Lynn McConnell, age 61, of Columbus, passed away peacefully July 29, 2017, at her residence. Sandra was born on August 20, 1955, in Montclair, New Jersey to Nancy Lynn Spader and her late father David Robert Spader. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” McConnell.

Survivors include her mother, Nancy Spader; brothers, Jeff and David Spader; sister, Barbara Katz; her daughter/pride and joy, Tara Ormsby. Sandra was loved by many and cherished by those closest to her! She will be always loved, never forgotten and forever missed. She loved the Lord. Her favorite bible verse was, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13.

Her daughter Tara Ormsby will receive friends for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 5, 2017, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the address of 1540 Lower Big Springs Road, LaGrange, GA.
