John D. Maguire passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, August 12, 2017, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend with his loving family in attendance.

John was born on January 27, 1980, to the union of Patrick and Mary (Kellogg) Maguire. John is survived by his wife, Heather Maguire, and their three children: Connor, Ava and Caitlyn. He is also survived by his mother, Mary Kellogg Maguire, five brothers, Daniel, Jacob (Lily), Joey, David (Angela), and Joshua, and by his sister, Jackie Maguire, and by maternal grandfather, Freeborn (Lynn) Kellogg, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by his father, Patrick, paternal grandparents, John and Elizabeth Maguire, and maternal grandmother, Darlene Kellogg.

John was a wonderful father, son, brother and friend. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

A memorial Mass is scheduled for Friday, August 18, at 10 a.m. at St. Monica Catholic Church, 222 W. Mishawaka Ave., Mishawaka, IN 46545. Guests are welcome to visit with the family prior to the Mass, from 9 to 10 a.m., at the church. Palmer Funeral Home River Park is assisting the family.
