Amber Leigh Slaughter, 37 of Conyers, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2017, at Rockdale Medical Center. She was born in Atlanta, GA. Amber enjoyed traveling and her dog, Tyson/Fur. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Bonnie Ray Slaughter, maternal grandfather Ray Randolph Gaddis and maternal grandmother Ruby Katherine Gaddis.

She is survived by her fiance  Mike Bryant, father and step-mother Jeffery and Laura Slaughter of Conyers, mother Kathy Hewatt of Covington, step-brother Jeremiah (Leslie) Perez, step-sister Candice (Josh) Sparks, nephews and niece Samuel Davis, Riley Davis and Hunter Davis, great nieces Grace Pegram and Emma Pegram, aunts Paula Cooper, Venita Gaddis Balkin and Deidre Leigh Gaddis, cousins Clinton Craig, Justin Cooper, Lauren Cooper and Courtney (Kris) Pegram.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with Rev. Talmadge French officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, August 18, 2017 from 6:00pm-8:00pm and Saturday, August 19, 2017 from noon-5 p.m. Interment will be Sunday, Aug. 20,2017, at 2 p.m. at Shadowlawn Cemetary, Bob Williams Drive, LaGrange, GA, with Rev.
