Open for business! I walked through the new Dunham’s Sport store yesterday. Wow, what a nice store! I love to take my grandkids to shoot 22 rifles when they come and the other big box  store will only sell you two boxes, if you’re lucky enough to be there when they come in. I bought a brick of shells last night. Come on kids! Now walking on through the store they had a little of everything and a big selection to choose from. Having this store here means people will not have to run to the big box stores in Auburn. I am a shoe person and they have as many shoes, boots or flip flops as one could hope to see in one day. They even have gun safes, canoes and guns — all the things boys and girls like to look at.

There will always be people who say, “I need to go out of town and shop.” That’s not really the case here though. This store is a perfect 10 to me. They have a great selection, friendly staff, which asked several times, “Can we help you find anything?” and their prices were great! Oh yes, there are two new places to eat within a 1 minute drive from the store so for LaGrange to grow spend your money here! Yes, Troup County is growing and it is wonderful!
