Chattahoochee Riverkeeper (CRK) is offering a special storytelling cruise aboard the West Point Lake Floating Classroom on Sunday, September 24. The public is welcome to join us for this family-friendly outing that offers West Point Lake-inspired animal tales from nationally acclaimed storyteller Carol Cain.

This program is recommended for school-age children ages 5 to 12 and their grown-ups. Cost is $10 per child and $20 per adult. The cruise will start promptly at 2 p.m. and end at 4 p.m., departing from and returning to Highland Marina Resort. Lemonade and cookies are provided.

Those interested may register online by visiting www.chattahoochee.org and clicking on the following tabs: Events, CRK Watershed Outings, General Outings, then select Critter Tales. Preregistration is required.

Since launching in 2015, the West Point Lake Floating Classroom has served nearly 7,000 students and adults by delivering unique, hands-on environmental education programs and guided lake tours.
