Mrs. Jennifer McAlister, 60, of LaGrange passed away Friday, Sept. 1, 2017, at Wellstar West Georgia Hospice. Mrs. McAlister was born Sept. 9, 1956, in Post, Texas and lived there only a few months before moving to LaGrange.

She was the daughter of the late James & Barbara Piper.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca Hooks and a brother, David Piper. Jennifer was a member of LaGrange First Assembly of God and was a homemaker. She is survived by her Husband, Mr. Bill McAlister, Children, Erin (Chris) Wentz, Adam (Stephanie) Baldwin, Rikki Sloan, Daniel McAlister, Billy Joe McAlister, Robbie Williams, Sisters Lori Bass, Lynn Chadwick, Brothers, Eric Piper and Ken Piper, 10 Grand Children and 1 Great Grand Child.

Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday Sept. 3, 2017. from the chapel of the Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home with the Reverend Darryl Yarbrough officiating. The Family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m.
