Mrs. Judy Ann Self Tarwater, 73, of LaGrange, Georgia passed away Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, at Pruitt Health Facility, Greenville, Georgia.

Mrs. Tarwater was born Oct. 1, 1943, in LaGrange, Georgia, daughter of the late Hiram Con Scott and Erma Geneva Scott Lashley.

Mrs. Tarwater is survived by her husband, Milton Tarwater; daughter, Tina J. Fotsch (Brian Barnett); son, Christopher Wes Self (Melanie); siblings, Joyce Mitchell (Sam) and Jackie Johnson (Chris); grandchildren, Danielle Brewster, Airel Bowman (Brian), Anthony Swinford, Amber Pinkard, Kacie Thomas, Alexis Self, and Tyler Self; and great grandchildren, Gaven, Cayden, Grace, Brayden, and Noah.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017, in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Pastor Sam Mitchell officiating.  Burial will follow in Shadowlawn Cemetery.  The gathering of family and friends will be on Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
