FAYETTEVILLE – The Troup Lady Tigers scored three runs in the fourth inning to take the lead, but Chapel Hill came right back with five runs in the bottom of the inning on the way to a 9-3 win.

Troup was limited to three hits by Chapel Hill pitcher Kira Morgan.

Abby Taylor had two of Troup’s hits, while Maddie Weathers had one hit.

Skye Loftin, Madison McCartney and Hadleigh Livingston each scored runs for Troup.

Chapel Hill scored single runs in the second and third innings to grab a 2-0 lead, and Troup crossed the plate three times in the fourth inning to go up by one.

Chapel Hill exploded for five runs in the bottom of the fourth before capping the scoring with two runs in the sixth inning.
