LAGRANGE – The Troup Lady Tigers made easy work of Hardaway on Monday, rolling to the 13-2 in a non-region game.
Troup exploded for six runs in the first inning, and it continued to pour it on in a game that ended after five innings because of the run rule.
Troup banged out 11 hits, and three different players had multi-hit games.
Makenzie Miller was one of those players, and she had two hits and three RBIs.
Maddie Weathers had two hits and two RBIs, and Skye Loftin had two hits and two RBIs and she scored a pair of runs.
Hadleigh Livingston and Madison McCartney each had a hit and an RBI, and Kayla Lane had a hit.
Abby Taylor pitched for Troup, and she pitched the five-inning complete game, and she limited to Hardaway to four hits while striking out three.
Troup will finish the regular season with a home game against Harris County today.
Troup is in sixth place in Region 5-AAAA, and if it remains there, it will play LaGrange in the opening round of the region tournament.
