LAGRANGE – The Troup Lady Tigers put the finishing touches on the regular season with an 11-0 home loss to Harris County on Wednesday.

Troup will now wait and see who it will face in the opening round of the Region 5-AAAA softball tournament.

If Cedartown beats Central-Carroll today, Troup will be the number six seed, and it will play third-seeded LaGrange on Monday.

If Cedartown loses to Central, Troup will be seeded fifth, and it will play fourth-seeded Cartersville in the region tournament.

In Wednesday’s game, Troup was unable to get the bats working against Harris County pitcher Lindsey Kyte, who threw a two-hitter while striking out 12.

Maddie Weathers and Olivia McInvale each had a hit for Troup.

Abby Taylor pitched for Troup.
