JoAnn Lee Phillips, formerly of LaGrange, passed away at her home on Thursday, Sept. 14 2017, surrounded by family.

She was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina on March 19, 1936, to Whitney and Evelyn Hurst.

She is survived by Neil and Delores Thagard (sister), Glenn and Patricia Vaughn (daughter), Kenneth and Deborah Lee (son), grandchildren Nathan Perry, Micah Perry, Noel Vaughn, Randy Vaughn, Christie Lee and Candace Lee, great-grandchildren Ember Judd, Ellison Guyot, Elora Vaughn, Mia Perry and Mason Vaughn, Alicia Goeltz (niece) and Neil Thagard Jr. (nephew).

She was cremated at Haisten Funeral Home.

Her ashes will be placed with her father and mother in Asheville, North Carolina.
