Voncille Robbins Chancey of Whitesville, Georgia, entered the house of our Lord, Monday Oct. 30, 2017, at the Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, Georgia.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date in Lake Wales, FL according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, Georgia.
Ms. Chancey was born May 24, 1938 in Lake Wales, Florida to the late Crawford Robbins and Fannie Lou Hausler. She was the former wife of the late Robert Melvin Chancey. She was preceded in death by her parents Fannie Lou Hausler and Crawford Robbins and a sister and brother-in-law, Marlene (Fred) Hall, brother, Raymond Robbins, and brother-in-law, Gerald Powell.
She is survived by three children, Karl Chancey of Whitesville, GA, Janet (Jeff) Fischer of Gautier, MS, and Raymond Chancey of Whitesville, Georgia, three grandchildren, Lynda (Steven) McCutcheon of Biloxi, Mississippi, Sarah and Robert Fischer of Gautier, Mississippi, a great granddaughter Gabriella Fischer of Gautier, Mississippi, brothers and sisters, David (Doris) Robbins of Plant City, Florida, Juanita Powell of Montgomery, Alabama, Martha (Quinton) Hamilton of Lakeland, Flordia, Elaine (Brad) Hanei of Venus, Florida, Donna and Daniel Robbins of Lake Wales, Florida, daughter-in-law, Cookie Robbins of Satellite Beach, Florida, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
