Mr. Bert Leven Sears, age 63, of Brooks, passed away on Nov. 7, 2017, at his residence.

Mr. Sears was born on Aug. 14, 1954, in LaGrange, Georgia. He was the son of the late Kathleen Sears. He retired after many years of service from Dundee Mills.

Survivors include his son, Leven Sears and several cousins.

A time of visitation and remembrance with the family will be held on Friday, Dec. 1, 2017, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside inurnment service will be held on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017, at 1 p.m. in the Bear Creek Methodist Church Cemetery in Woodland, Alabama.
