Mr. Kenneth “Ken” Wardlaw, 73, of LaGrange, Georgia, formerly of Center Point, Texas, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017.
Mr. Wardlaw was born Jan. 17, 1944, in Atlanta, Georgia, son of the late Alfred Dupre Wardlaw and Ruby Ailene Pope Wardlaw. He received his bachelor’s degree in business, and he retired as an innkeeper of The Rocking River Inn.
Kenneth was survived by his wife, Sherry Wardlaw; brother, Charles (Nancy) Wardlaw; Sherry’s sister, Marcie Cox and mother, Frances Cox.
The Celebration of Life will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, 2017, at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Alex Montgomery officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to be made to Next Cross Road a 501c3 via Charles Wardlaw at charles@wardlaws.net or (706) 333-5555 or in memory of Mr. Kenneth Wardlaw to 1004 Country Club Road, LaGrange, GA 30240. NCR is a local charity founded by Nancy, Charles and others. NCR is directed at women recovering from addiction. Ken was very supportive of NCR.
