Samuel James Daniel

Samuel James Daniel passed away Sunday.

He was born March 19, 1941, in Heard County, Georgia to the late Clinton Daniel and Imogene Ware Daniel.

Sammy attended Mary Johnson School in Heard County, Georgia. He was employed with Southwire and Heard County School System as a bus driver until his retirement.

He joined Stateline Baptist Church where he remained an active member.

Survivors include his wife, Luedean Daniel; one daughter, Bridget Daniel, Carrollton, Georgia; one son, Fredrick Daniel, Franklin, GA; seven grandchildren, three brothers, Clinton Daniel, Jr., Atlanta, GA; Horace Daniel, Fayetteville, GA; Charlie Raymond (Regina) Daniel, Franklin, GA; three sisters, Mary (Albert) Almond, Atlanta, GA; Janice (Robert) Copeland, Atlanta, GA; Frankie Wells, Atlanta, GA; sisters-in-law, Irene Leak and Mary Truitt, both of LaGrange, GA; Sylvia Harris, Roanoke, AL; brother-in-law, Kenny Burden, Roanoke, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and special friends.

The service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Stateline Baptist Church.
