Mr. Thomas Norman Ussery, age 64, of Pine Mountain, passed away on Dec. 6, 2017, at his residence. Mr. Ussery was born on May 29, 1953, in LaGrange to the late Doyle Hopson Ussery and Marie Railey Ussery. He was a Fireman for the Troup County Fire Department for almost 30 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Nolan Ussery and a sister, Janice Rush. Survivors include his wife, Jonna Ray Ussery of Pine Mountain; sons, Thomas Ussery of Pine Mountain and Jon Ussery and his wife Karen Keshishian of Birmingham, Alabama; daughters, Angela Blakley and her husband Tim and Jennifer Young and her husband Eric, all of Pine Mountain; brothers, Horace Ussery, Albert Ussery and his wife Alice, Doyle Ussery and his wife Melba and Vernon Ussery and his wife Denise; sisters, Pat McRae, Betty Jean Cavender and Rhonda Ann Griffin; grandchildren, Savannah Blakley, Hunter Young, Layla Young and Lorelai Young; great grandchildren, Oaklyn Blakely and Brantley Singleton; extended family and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.  Interment will follow at the Meadoway Gardens.  Family will received friends on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
