WEST POINT — The Point University department of fine arts will present A Point Community Christmas on Friday, Dec. 8 at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at Spring Road Christian Church. A second performance date will be held on Saturday, Dec. 9, at 3 p.m. at Spring Road Christian Church. This year’s performance will feature Point choral and instrumental groups presenting seasonal favorites, including Suites One and Two from Many Moods of Christmas.

Dr. Byron Cartwright, professor and chair of the fine arts department, would like to invite the community to attend. “This year’s program also features our MusiKids on Friday evening, our growing string ensemble and Point graduates. It’s thrilling to be a part of such wonderful holiday preparations, and I hope members of the community know how much we want them to celebrate with us.”

Point’s Christmas concerts are free and open to the public. A free-will offering will be received at the end of the performance.
