Mrs. Myrtice Thornton Davis moved to her new home early this morning, Dec. 15, 2017.

She was escorted through the pearly gates by the Holy Ghost, shown her new mansion by her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and welcomed home for all eternity by God the Father. Mrs. Davis was born on June 6, 1938, in Franklin, Georgia.

Survivors include her niece, Runnell Presley and her nephew, Oliver Cox; caregiver, Annette White. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as four siblings.

A celebration of life service for Mrs. Davis will be held on Monday, Dec. 18, 2017, at 1 p.m. at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Scarbrough and special friend, the Rev. Lillie Fuller officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Monday from 11 a.m. until service hour at the funeral home.
