Jeanelle Daniel, 86, of LaGrange, Georgia passed away Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018, at Twin Fountains Nursing Home.

Ms. Daniel was born Feb. 23, 1931, in Franklin, Georgia to the late Rev. D. Heflin Daniel and Katie Pearl Loftin Daniel. She retired from Newman Construction Company as a Book Keeper after almost 40 years of service. Ms. Daniel was a faithful member of First Baptist Church on the Square, where she was a vital part of the New Horizon Choir and the Paul Blair Sunday School Class.

Survivors include her brothers, Theron Daniel, Kenneth Daniel, and Wayne (Brenda) Daniel; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel with Dr. Paul Baxter, the Rev. Max McCord and Pastor Cade Farris officiating.  The gathering of family and friends will be on Saturday from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home prior to service.

The family has respectfully requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made to First Baptist Church on the Square or the charity of your choice in memory of Jeanelle Daniel.
