A man arrested earlier this week for several thefts in Troup County may not have acted alone.
Daniel Wade Cantrell, 28, of Newnan, was arrested Tuesday morning following a pursuit where he was allegedly driving a stolen City of Opelika vehicle. Now, investigators are charging Joshua D. Robinson, 33, of Newnan, with crimes associated with Cantrell, according to the Sgt. Stewart Smith with the Troup County Sheriff’s Office.
Robinson has been charged with 11 counts of burglary, six counts of criminal damage to property and three thefts, Smith said.
Cantrell was facing charges from two alleged thefts in December — one at West Georgia Fence and one at 3200 Mooty Bridge Road. It was unclear which specific incident or incidents Robinson was linked to.
Robinson is currently being held in the Coweta County Jail. Smith said four televisions of various sizes have been recovered from the alleged burglaries and have been returned to their owners.
