Mr. Ricky Lamar Lovejoy

Ricky Lamar Lovejoy passed away Wednesday.
He was born April 11, 1968, to Oscar McGhee and the late, Millie Lovejoy Tigner in the Odessadale Community.
He united with Branch Hebron Church. He graduated from Greenville High School, class of 1986 and served in the U.S. Army Reserve. He was a trucker by trade, previously employed by A & H Trucking and currently, Pine Hill Timber Company.
Survivors include his wife, Aretha Lovejoy; children, Derrick Denson, Jemelle Jenkins, Brittany Lovejoy and MacKenzie Long, all of LaGrange, Georgia, Torin Denson, Columbus, Georgia; LaKetha (Claude) Hammond, Blythewood, South Carolina; DeBrandon Reeves and TaShonna Reeves, both of Greenville, Georgia; 19 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren; his father, Oscar McGhee; siblings, Willie James (Carolyn) Tigner of Columbus, Georgia; Sarah Tiggs, William Ellis Tigner and Bernice Strozier, all of Odessadale, Georgia, Dixon (Phylichia) Lindsey, Newnan, Georgia; Clarence James Tigner, Jeanette Davis, William (Crystal) McGhee, James Daniel, Willie Oscar McGhee, Eddie Roy (Nannie) Rhodes, Ernestine (Robert) Shelton all of LaGrange, Georgia, Christine (Elbert) Lewis, Hampton, Georgia; a special friend, Angela F. Reeves; a special niece, Corlis (Roderic) Harris; his extended family of sisters-in-law, brothers-In-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; all of his Trucking friends, All-for-One Tailgaters, the Dallas Cowboys Family and a host of friends.
The service will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at New Community Church.
