It was one of those days for the Callaway Cavaliers.

Pike County scored nine runs in the bottom of the second inning on the way to a 10-0 home victory in a game shortened to five innings.

Trent Sheppard and Jabari Smith had Callaway’s only hits, and Chandler Lott and Austin Cardwell both walked.

Taylor Cook and Jake Maddox each had a hit and three RBIs for Pike County, and Noah Windhorst had a hit and an RBI.

Callaway (6-4) will look to get back on track when it hosts Upson-Lee on Tuesday.
