Egg hunts bring community together

In Monday’s paper, we wrote about two Easter egg hunts that took place in LaGrange over the weekend. The hunts were held at Hogansville Elementary School and in the Hillside neighborhood.
There will be countless other egg hunts over the next few weeks in LaGrange too. It’s always amazing watching how quickly all of the eggs are found — whether it’s 10, 100 or 2,000 — and it’s so much fun to watch.
Both of these egg hunts were put together with the community in mind. Not only do they get children outside and interacting, but they get parents outside too. These events bring us together and give us a chance to sit back and have a little fun.
Plus, watching all of the kids hunt eggs takes us back to our childhoods. We appreciate all of the community groups hosting egg hunts this week.
