Mrs Frances Beall Robinson

Mrs. Frances Beall Robinson, 99, of Hogansville, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at her home.
Born January 6, 1919, in Campbell County, Mrs. Robinson was the daughter of the late Henley and Maude Conger Beall. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Mrs. Robinson served in the Women’s Army Corps as a medical tech in World War II and was a member of the Women’s Army basketball team.
Mrs. Robinson lived most of her life in Hogansville, was the first women to join the Hogansville Optimist Club, and she taught swimming lessons for 30 years.
Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Robbin and Hank Butler of Douglasville; sons and daughter in-law, Mike and Debbie Able of LaGrange and Randy Able of Greenville; sister, Jacqueline White of Hogansville; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her special caregiver, Marie Hannah. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Robinson; her grandson, Kagan Butler; and a daughter in-law, Susan Able.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, May 11, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. The Rev. Wesley Boatman will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday evening.
