Mr. Booker T. Brown

Booker T. Brown passed away Saturday.
He was born Oct. 4, 1927, in Chambers County, Alabama, to the late, Simpson Brown and Blonde Della Cameron Russell.
He united with Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
Booker worked for Awbrey Logging Company for many years before retiring.
Survivors include, sons Booker T. Brown Jr. of Carrolton, Georgia; Charlie Brown of Columbus, Georgia; Marty (Rosa) Brown of Franklin, Georgia; Walter Mack Greene of Alabama; daughters, Barbara A. Brown of Franklin, Georgia; Brenda L. (Bobby) Ross of LaGrange, Georgia; Linda M. (Alton) Hall of Franklin, Georgia; Glenda Brown-Satterwhite of Franklin, Georgia; Francine Armster of Carrollton, Georgia; 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; brother, Roy Brown, Franklin, Georgia; sisters, Josie C. (Willie) Bell, Franklin, Georgia, Ether L. (Alvin) Edwards of Trotwood, Ohio; Eva Dell (Sander) Pless of Franklin, Georgia; Sarah Brown-Robinson of Bowdon, Georgia; sisters-in-law, Lenora (Grady) Jones of Rome, Georgia; Johnnie Alexander of Villa Rica, Georgia; Sarah Person of Bowdon, Georgia; brother-in-law, John T. Williams Jr. of Rome, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. The family will be at their home at 23 Jenkins Drive, Franklin.
The excellent care of Mr. Brown is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
