The celebration of life service for Mrs. Catherine “Cat” Crowder will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Bethany Baptist Church in Pine Mountain. The Rev. Dale Turner will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Crowder, a native of Troup County, was born June 6, 1952, and was the daughter of the late Ethel Mae Worman and Willie Ray Hardy.

She joined the Bethany Baptist Church at an early age.

Survivors include two daughters, Sylvia Hardy, Manchester, Georgia, Sharon Crowder, Hamilton, Georgia; two sons, Quinton Crowder, Benjamin Crowder, both of Pine Mountain; two sisters, Gloria Jones, Sara Ann Jones; one brother, Larry Jones, all of Pine Mountain; 12 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Eddie B. Hardy and Willie Clyde Williams.

The family will be at 211 Butts Mill Road in Pine Mountain.

Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
