Day one is in the books.

The first day of the Masters Waterski & Wakeboard Tournament, with a weather interruption thrown into the mix, is done.

Now it’s time for the main event.

On Friday, it was the junior competitors taking center stage, and today and Sunday it will be the professionals getting their chance to show what they can do.

The semifinal rounds will be contested in five different events today, and the top finishers will advance to the finals on Sunday.

The competition begins at 8 a.m. today with the women’s and men’s trick semifinals.

That will be followed by the slalom, wakestate, wakeboard, and jumping events.

On Sunday, there will be an opening ceremony at 10 a.m., with the finals beginning at 10:30 a.m.

This is the 59th time the Masters tournament has been held at Callaway Gardens, and it has been held Memorial Day weekend every year since 1959.
