John L. Copeland passed away Saturday.

He was born Dec. 24, 1956, to the late, John W. Smith Jr. and Ruby Kate Copeland in Mountville, Georgia.

He was a member of Confidence Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Willie Pearl Copeland; two daughters, Ametrice L. Hart, Jumecia L. Hart; two sons, John L. (Vinyette) Copeland Jr., and Lamar (Regina); sisters, Mrs. Ruby (George) Harrison; Linda (Willie) Huzzie; Dorothy (Tony) Williams; Joyce Shepherd, and Cynthia Heard; brothers, Jerry Smith, Tony Smith, Dexter Smith, Randy Smith, Freddie Stargell and Kelvin Stargell; stepfather, Clifford Gates; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and dear family and friends.

The service will be Friday at noon at Confidence Baptist Church.

The family will be at their home at 1407 Juniper Street.

The excellent care of Mr. Copeland is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
