Tyrone Poole announced that he will host his foundation’s inaugural father-son breakfast and golf outing at Callaway Gardens on Saturday.

This is the first of what Poole plans to be an annual event. It celebrates the power of intact father-son relationships, and provides adult male mentors to youth who do not have a father figure in their lives.

“I decided that this year — and in the years to come — my foundation would host four events designed to highlight the critical role parent-child relationships plan in the success of families and communities,” Poole said.

These events include a Father-Daughter Dance,  a Mother-Son Adventure and Mother-Daughter Holiday Tea.

Although tickets for the breakfast ($30) and individual golfer spots ($100) are available to the public for purchase, Poole also wants to ensure that those fathers and sons who wish to attend the festivities but cannot afford it, are sponsored by the Foundation. He plans to work with several community organizations to nominate father-son teams. Individuals may also nominate recipients for complimentary tickets by emailing Info@tyronepoole.com.

Sponsorships range from $30 to underwrite breakfast tickets, to $100 for an individual golfer, to $600 for a golf team. Flagship sponsorships range from $1,000 for a Longest Drive Sponsorship, to $5,000 for a presenting sponsorship. Sponsors to date include Cricket Wireless, Country Financial and CORE Sports & Entertainment.
