Mr. Dwight Culpepper

Dwight “Day Time” Culpepper died Wednesday June 13, 2018, at the Augusta Medical Center. He was born May 2, 1954, to the late Sammie Kate Gates Culpepper and Robert Culpepper in LaGrange.
Dwight attended Mt. Pleasant, Eastside Boys Jr. High and Ethel Kight High School. He held employment in construction and as a custodian at LaGrange High School. He was a strong believer in God, and he confessed at an early age and became a member at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Pine Mountain, Georgia.
Survivors include three sisters, Shirley Reed of New York and Debbie Culpepper and Tammie (Terry) Tucker both of LaGrange; two brothers, Willie (Christine) Culpepper and Clifford (Charlie Faye) Culpepper, both of Lagrange: six sons, Antron Tucker, Tabias Lindsey and Travis Smith, all of LaGrange, and Torey Tucker, Derivious Tucker and Taron Tucker, all of Atlanta; one daughter, Krystal Smith of LaGrange; his fiancée, Vickylene Smith of LaGrange; 19 grandchildren and several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Dwight Culpepper will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Eastside Baptist Church, 1016 Mason Street. The Rev. Jairo Gay will officiate with burial at Southview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Tammie Tucker at 410 Jefferson Street.
