The Troup County Roads and Engineering Department announced Monday that Old School Road will be temporarily closed to through traffic.

Troup County has temporarily closed Old School Road between Rock Mills Road and Cofield Road for storm drainage work. Harmony Church Road should be used as a short detour as necessary. The road is expected to reopen before the end of the week.

As with all road construction, motorists are advised to use extra caution in work zones.  Slow down, stay alert, pay attention and obey all work zone and advisory signs.
