Mrs. Thelma Morgan Perry

Mrs. Thelma Morgan Perry, 96, of Albany, Georgia, former resident of LaGrange, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at Lee County Health and Rehab in Leesburg, Georgia.

Mrs. Perry was born Thelma Ennis Kenny, May 29, 1922, in Chambers County, Alabama, the daughter of the late Tom E. Kenny and Thelma Ruby Harrison Kenny. She was a member of the East Vernon Baptist Church where she served as organist and pianist. Ms. Perry was a former employee of the Dunson Mill. She was preceded in death by her parents and two husbands, Jack Morgan and Kenneth Perry.

She is survived by her son, Ervin Morgan Sr.; grandson, Ervin Morgan Jr.; grand-daughter, Dee Gouchnour and her husband Chris; great-grandchildren, Leigh Skipper, Justin, Jessica, and Dawn Carlilse; great great grandchildren, J.J. Carlilse and Olivia Skipper.

Funeral services for Mrs. Thelma Morgan Perry will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2018, from the chapel of Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Shadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
