Larry Darnell Ward passed away Thursday.

He was born Sept. 21, 1957, to the late Evelyn Sue All Ward and Leon Ware, and was reared by Ernest Ward.

He attended school in Troup County, Georgia, and was previously employed by Milliken and Company’s Hillside plant.

Survivors include a daughter, Lanita Ward; two grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Barbara (Gary) Boddie, Ernest (Jennifer) Ward, Ricky Ward, Eric (Shirley) Ward, Kevin (Aniya) Ward, and Keisiva Ward; and a host of nieces and nephews and a special friend Mary Magee.

The service will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at Church of the King.

The family will be at the home of his brother, Ernest Ward, at 707 Glass Bridge Road.

The excellent care of Mr. Ward is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
