Mrs. Betty Sellers White, 81, of Hogansville, passed away Monday, July 30, 2018, at Pruitt Healthcare in Greenville.

Mrs. White was born Feb. 2, 1936, in Hogansville, daughter of the late Richard Sellers and Leila Hale Sellers Birdsong. A resident of Hogansville most of her life, she retired from Bank of America after many years of service. She enjoyed genealogy and did vast family research, but also devoted a lot of her retirement years to caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her grandchildren, David Noles and Corrie Martinez, both of LaGrange, and Victor Hugo Lopez, whom she thought of as a grandson;  great-grandchildren, Teara Martinez, Jeanet Martinez, Jessica Martinez; and several cousins, including Jackie Cook of LaGrange and Ronald W. Horton Sr. of Atlanta.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tillman White, and daughter, Cathy Noles.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. The Rev. Terry Rainwater will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m., Saturday.
