Kenneth Steven Ray, age 68, of LaGrange, passed away of Aug. 2, 2018.  He was born in LaGrange, Georgia on Jan. 26, 1950, to the late Will Hugh Ray and Marjorie Carolyn Rivers Ray.

In addition to his parents,  he is preceded in death by his brother Thomas Ray. Mr. Ray was the owner and sole operator of Ray Construction.

Survivors include his wife Jane Smith Ray; son, Brian Ray (Shree); daughter Brandie Ray; brother, Ronald Ray (Reba). Grandchildren, Emily Ray, Hanna Ray, Aubree Winfree, Ella Winfree, Michael Gordon, Whitley Adams, sister in laws, Rebecca Lipham, Ruthie Mae Heathcox, Brenda Ray; several nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.

Family will have visitation on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018 from noon  to 2 p.m. at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel. Funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. with Mike Duncan officiating. Interment will follow at Thompson Family Cemetery.
