Hattie Eugenia Moore Truitt passed away Tuesday.

She was born March 8, 1921, to the late Elijah and Susannah Moore.

She united with South Park Avenue Church of Christ.

She served as a certified nursing assistant with City-County Hospital, Maidee Smith Negro Nursing Home, Medcraft Nursing Home and Royal Elaine Nursing Home.

Survivors include sons, Wilbur (Jearleen Jennings) Truitt of LaGrange, Georgia, and Sylvester (Cindy) Truitt of Indianapolis, Indiana; three grandchildren she reared as her own; sister, Juanita Woodyard; special personal caregiver; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 32 great great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and acquaintances.

The service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at South Park Avenue Church of Christ.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson on Sunday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The family will be at their homes at 953 Mason Street and 129 Oakmont Drive.

The excellent care of Mrs. Truitt is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
