Charles Benson Brewer passed away Friday.

He was born Oct. 25, 1961, in LaGrange, Georgia. He was one of eleven children born to the late George Dewey Brewer and Virginia Brewer.

He graduated from LaGrange High School, class of 1979, and united with New Beginning Baptist Church.

Survivors include five children:  Shantris Smith, Mario Smith, Quincy Smith, Gabrielle King and Cordaisha King; five grandchildren; three sisters, Ruby Peterson, Barbara White, Annie Kelley; two brothers, Leon Brewer and Nathaniel Brewer; one brother-in-law, James Gholston; special nurse, Cheryl Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Confidence Baptist Church.

The family will be at their home at 125 Watson Street.

The excellent care of Mr. Brewer is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
