The LaGrange Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Houston Street in LaGrange Sunday morning.

The LPD responded to the scene at 2:02 a.m. and made contact with two victims. According to the press release, the victims told police that they were walking down Houston Street from Brownwood Avenue when they were confronted by an unknown black male brandishing a handgun.

The suspect robbed the victims of an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency and fled the scene, according to the press release.

The suspect was described as a tall, dark skinned black male wearing jeans and no shirt. No one was injured in the incident.
