The LaGrange Police Department is hosting free Civilian Response to Active Shooter Event, or C.R.A.S.E., training Tuesday, Aug. 28 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

This training will help in the event of an active threat event where it is a life or death situation, according to a press release.

The training will take place at the LaGrange Police Department Training Center at 376 Aerotron Parkway in LaGrange.
