James Edward Cash, age 68, of LaGrange, passed away on Aug. 25, 2018, in Meridian, Mississippi. He was born on Jan. 26, 1950, to the late Wilbur Cash and Margaret Cash in Gaffney, South Carolina. He served in the United States Army and was an employee at Uniroyal Tire Company.  He grew up in the Connie Maxwell Childrens Home, where he visited often and attended yearly reunions.

Survivors include his spouse, Gail Shelnutt Cash; son, Gary Cash (Dee); brother, JD Cash; sisters, Francis Cash, Mildred Cash; grandchildren, Ashley Tate (Allen), Austin Cash, Gavin Moncus, Charley Ann Moncus, Nikki Cash; great grandchildren, Lee Tate, AJ Tate; extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, Aug. 31, 2018 at the City Light Church of God from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. City Light Church of God, 501 4th Avenue, LaGrange, Georgia 30240.
