Mr. Dewey Gene Henderson, age 63, of Opelika, Alabama, passed away on Sept. 10, 2018, at the East Alabama Medical Center. Mr. Henderson was born on May 8, 1956, in LaGrange, to Dewey C. Henderson and Margaret J. Whitley Henderson.  His father preceded him in death. He was employed with East Alabama Paving.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Terry Henderson, John Henderson (Kristi) and Gina Allen (Patrick); brothers, Kenneth Henderson and James Henderson (Joanna); sisters, Lynn Musselwhite (Robert) and Ann Bess (Ralph); grandchildren, Andrew, Morgan, Katelynn, Cortney, Leanna, Emily and Carson; great grandchild, Brantley; extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018, at noon EST at the Woodbury City Cemetery.
