Willie McGhee passed away Friday.

He was born Jan. 30, 1951, to Oscar McGhee and the late Elizabeth McGhee.

Willie joined the Branch Hebron Baptist Church.

Upon moving to New York, he was employed by Entenmanns Bakery, Holiday Pools and Linday Taxi Service.

Survivors include his son, Christopher (Natisha) McGhee, Valley, Alabama; two daughters:  Beatrice (Robert) Smith, Long Island, New York; Angelica McGhee, Olcott, New York; three grandchildren; brothers, James Daniel and William McGhee; sisters, Christine Lews, the Rev. Ernestine Shelton; and a host of nieces, nephews and relatives.

The service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Rising Grove Baptist Church.

The family will be at their home at 111 Celebration Blvd.

The excellent care of Mr. McGhee is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
