Louie D. McClung, age 80, of LaGrange, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018. Louie was born April 1, 1938, in Thomaston, Georgia, to the late Archie James McClung and Louise Wade McClung.

Louie is survived by his wife, Marie McClung; daughter, Beth McClung; son, David and Lori McClung; son, Philip and Angela McClung; sisters, Pat Storey,  Bonnie Briscoe, Shelby McClung; grandchildren, Matt and Lauren McClung, Hannah and Adam Holcomb, Hilary and Tony Bailey, Kelly McClung, Brad McClung, Duncan McClung, Dalton McClung and Eli McClung; and five great grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018, from noon to 2 p.m. at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel.

A celebration of life service will be Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Olin White officiating. Burial will follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery.
