Mr. Howard Edward Pittman, age 77, passed away on Sept. 30, 2018, at Florence Hand Home. Mr. Pittman was born on June 22, 1941, in LaGrange to the late Dewey Pittman and Julia Middlebrooks Pittman. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and retired from Playtex. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 11 siblings. Survivors include his son, Kenneth Pittman; daughter, Lisa Pike; brother, Allen Pittman; grandchildren, Matthew Bass (Shahidah), Kelli Pike, Kaleigh Pike and Meri Pittman; great grandchild, Sophie Bass; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, at 2 p.m. at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel. Interment will follow at Meadoway Gardens. Family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
